Only two Premier League players can beat what Kobbie Mainoo has done at Man United this season

Kobbie Mainoo has enjoyed a successful spell in the Manchester United first team this season, and his impressive form has seen him become one of the most-improved Premier League players in EA FC 24.

The first instalment in the EA Sports FC game series, EA FC 24 keeps up to date with how players perform in real life by updating player ratings and stats weekly. There haven't been many upgrades in United's squad this season with Erik ten Hag's side out of the Champions League and sixth in the Premier League table, but Mainoo has been a standout.

With no first-team experience under his belt, Mainoo started EA FC 24 as a 62-rated player, making him one of the lowest-rated players in the squad with only Omari Forson (61), Willy Kambwala (60) and Tyler Fredricson (58) rated lower. But fast forward five months and the Englishman has increased by six overall ratings to 68, one of the biggest rating jumps in the Premier League so far this season.

The 18-year-old has started in every game for United since the 0-0 draw against Liverpool in December, with the Englishman a vital part of Ten Hag's current setup. EA Sports tips the midfielder to reach a rating of 88/99 in the future, which would make him the third highest-rated player in the current United squad, with only Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro rated higher (86).

In the latest EA FC 24 squad update made on February 22, Mainoo received a total of four upgrades to his in-game stats, following on from nine upgrades on February 8. These are the stats that were upgraded in February:
