‘On trial’ - Keane and Neville among pundits to cast verdict on Erik ten Hag at Manchester United

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to make a decision on Erik ten Hag as manager of Manchester United by the end of the season with his future less than secure.

The Dutchman has won just 50% of the club’s 36 matches so far this season and Ratcliffe is ‘not completely sold’ on the 54-year-old. MEN Sport understands that Roberto De Zerbi is one of the names shortlisted as a potential replacement option.

Ten Hag ended United’s six-season wait for a trophy a year ago when he lifted the Carabao Cup at Wembley before securing a top four spot. However, an early Champions League exit and poor league form has left his future at Old Trafford in the balance.
