Oasis at Heaton Park LIVE: Gates open as thousands get ready for epic reunion gig - updates

The Oasis boys are back in town - and they're returning in spectacular fashion with five shows in Greater Manchester.

The iconic Manchester band, led by Liam and Noel Gallagher, will be playing the first of their shows at Heaton Park tonight (July 11) with close to 80,000 fans expected to be in attendance - with many from the city itself and others who have travelled from all around the world for the special gig.

The Manchester shows, which will continue until July 20, come following the first two nights of the Live '25 tour in Cardiff last week. First announced last summer, the tour marks the first time the Gallagher brothers have reunited on stage in nearly 16 years - and it's sent fans into an overdrive of nostalgia and hype.

In the weeks leading to the start of the tour, the city has come alive with murals, mosaics, art trails, and pop-up shops, including the first ever Oasis fan store, which opened in Spinningfields last month. It was the first chance for fans to grab their official merchandise relating to the tour.

A special tour merch stand also opened at St Peter's Square earlier this week, giving fans the opportunity to snap up the official tour programme, as well as Manchester-specific shirts and hoodies with the dates of the shows detailed on them.

As with Cardiff, Oasis will be supported by Cast and Richard Ashcroft. The gates at Heaton Park are set to open at around 3pm, and fans will be making their way to Heaton Park early to get as close to the stage as possible.
