Oasis release new live track from Manchester Heaton Park show as fans demand one thing
We're still reliving the best moments from the huge Oasis takeover in Manchester this past week, and now fans will be able to soak up it all up for a little bit longer.
The band took over Heaton Park for five nights this past week, with over 340,000 pouring into the venue to watch Liam and Noel reunite in their home city for the first time in 16 years. It's all part of the Oasis Live '25 tour which is stopping off in cities across the UK and Ireland this summer before heading overseas.
Their setlist on the tour includes some of their biggest hits, including 'Some Might Say' and 'Little by little', as well as 'Slide Away' and 'Masterplan'.
One of the best reactions from the Manchester crowd during the shows though was for Cigarettes & Alcohol, with Liam instructing fans to take part in the Poznan before it starts.
On the opening night (July 11), he instructed the audience: "Everybody turn around, take each others arms do the Poznan to this tune."
As the crowd did as they were told, Liam continued: "Come on it's easy! You don't need GCSEs man, turn around... it's easy!"
As the opening thrash of Cigarettes & Alcohol kicked in, everyone in the audience linked arms and then jumped up and down with their backs to the stage in what was a joyful highlight for many fans.
Now, ahead of taking over London’s Wembley Stadium for seven sold out nights this week, Oasis have released a live version of ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol' from their first homecoming show (July 11) at Heaton Park.
The sixth song in the setlist on the night, the new version of the track immortalises the moment that Oasis returned home. It follows the release of ‘Slide Away (Live from Cardiff, 4 July ‘25)’.
