Newcastle vs Manchester United live Premier League updates, team news and TV information

Manchester United will play a third successive away game when visiting Newcastle in the Premier League this weekend.

United will make the trip to St. James' Park for the Saturday night kick-off slot and they need to respond to the disappointment of drawing 3-3 against Galatasaray in the Champions League during the week.

That result in Istanbul has left United's hopes of progressing from the Champions League group in tatters, but the players need to refocus against a Newcastle side that were unfortunate not to beat Paris Saint-Germain.

Regarding the team news, Marcus Rashford will be available again after being absent against Galatasaray due to a suspension, while Mason Mount did not travel with the squad to Newcastle.

Newcastle are dealing with their own injury crisis and they could be without 11 first-team players.

Follow below for live updates from St. James' Park.

Goalkeepers: Altay Bayindir, Tom Heaton, Andre Onana.

Defenders: Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Sergio Reguilon, Luke Shaw, Raphael Varane, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Midfielders: Sofyan Amrabat, Bruno Fernandes, Kobbie Mainoo, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek.

Forwards: Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund, Anthony Martial, Facundo Pellistri, Marcus Rashford.

United's preparations for Saturday night's Premier League fixture against Newcastle have suffered a blow after their flight to the north-east was cancelled.

The MEN understands that the United squad were due to board a flight at Manchester Airport at 11am, only to be told it had been cancelled due to the weather and technical difficulties. They will now have to take a three-hour coach journey to Tyneside before taking on Newcastle tonight, kick-off 8pm.

It looks set to be bitterly cold
