New mum Janette Manrara 'so sad' as she's forced to say goodbye amid fresh 'firsts' with baby daughter

Janette Manrara has said it's 'so sad' as she had to say another goodbye in a matter of weeks. The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer has been inundated with visitors following the birth of her first child with her husband Aljaz Skorjanec.

Janette, 39, and Aljaz, 33, announced they were expecting a baby back in February and took fans along with them on their pregnancy journey, which came as a delightful surprise after they planned to start IVF treatment before Janette fell pregnant.

After keeping their unborn child's gender a secret from fans, the couple then confirmed their daughter, Lyra Rose Skorjanec, had made her entrance on July 28 in a social media post alongside a sweet black and white photo taken in the hospital of the new family of three for the first time.

Janette and Aljaz have since been keeping their followers updates on Lyra and their new life as a family of three and, after visits from both sets of grandparents and Aljaz's sister, Janette was thrilled to see her brother and sister as they jetted over from America.

Taking to Instagram, Strictly It Takes Two host Janette gushed over the "beautiful moment" when her younger brother and sister were introduced to their niece. "Such a beautiful moment where my little brother @fizzymanrara and little sister @missleslymarie met their niece! I’m so fortunate to be so close to them no matter how far apart we are," Janette wrote to her 588,000 followers last week.
