New Leny Yoro injury claims emerge as Man United could complete bargain transfer

Paris Saint-Germain refused to match Manchester United's £59million bid for Leny Yoro because they had doubts about the his fitness, according to a report from L'Equipe.

Reports suggest that Yoro, 18, is set to miss up to three months of action after fracturing his metatarsal during Saturday's pre-season friendly against Arsenal, ruling him out of the Community Shield and the start of the Premier League campaign.

Yoro, who joined United from Lille last month, had been subject to interest from the likes of PSG and Real Madrid before making the switch to Old Trafford. Now, it has been revealed that PSG pulled the plug on making another bid for the centre-back due to fears over his fitness.

L'Equipe report that the Ligue 1 club knew about a potential Yoro weakness in that area and therefore did not match what United had offered. Yoro had made his United debut against Rangers in Edinburgh on Saturday, June 20, before featuring from the start in the clash with the Gunners.
