Man United told Ivan Toney transfer 'demands' as huge £103m 'offer' made

Manchester United-linked Ivan Toney is reportedly demanding a huge sum of money to move to Saudi Arabia.

The England international would be in for a mammoth pay rise if he decides to depart Brentford for the riches of the Saudi Pro League. It is said that he wants wages, which would make him the third-highest player in the Premier League, only behind Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.

Toney was subject to a £35million bid from Al-Ahli, who reportedly offered the striker a three-year deal with a base salary of almost €20million (£17m) as well as a €3m (£2.5m) sign-on bonus that would be paid in two instalments, according to GiveMeSport. The 28-year-old reportedly demanded a salary of around €22m (£18.7m), with that figure only surpassed by Haaland (£19.5m) and De Bruyne (£20.8m) in the English top flight.

While the bid was swiftly rejected, on top of the win and goal bonuses included in Toney's contract, the Premier League ace would also be given an accommodation allowance and other lucrative add-ons that would see him bag a colossal figure of €120m (£103m). Should he remain an Al-Ahli player for the entirety of the contract, which equates to €750k (£639k) a week, though his actual base salary would be much lower?

Despite his substantial wage demands, it's believed that Ivan Toney would accept a lower salary to stay in Europe, with clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United showing interest in signing him. The forward's future at Brentford has become increasingly uncertain as the transfer window
