Mum's horror as girl, 12, filmed being beaten up at school in sickening attack

The mother of a 12-year-old girl has spoken of her horror after she was subjected to a horrific attack by another student at her Oldham school.

A video clip which has been circulating on social media shows the girl being attacked by another in front of a group of students who cheer and laugh. In the video, the attacker is seen hitting the girl, who has autism, and pulling her hair as she shouts in her face.

The M.E.N has been asked not to name the girl or her mother but the filmed incident took place at Crompton House School in Oldham last Wednesday (July 12). The victim’s mother described the video as ‘distressing to watch’ and said her ‘heart broke when she found out about it’.

“It’s very hard because she’s autistic so she doesn’t talk about her emotions,” she explained. “But I know it’s having a massive effect on her.”

The girl’s mother said she first found out about the incident after Crompton House informed her that her daughter had been involved in a fight and that they would be investigating. She has since said more needs to be done to stop bullying.

“From what I understand, my daughter has had issues with this other pupil before but there’s never been any video evidence since now,” her mother claimed. “I believe this fight started after my daughter repeated what someone else said about this girl and was then confronted about it.

“Two boys tried to lure her to a certain part of the building where there is no CCTV. She got scared and stayed in the toilets until the coast was clear for her to go home. But the next day, she was confronted again.

“After P.E, some girls tried to get her to stay behind in the changing rooms
