Mohamed Reda 'eyed' for Celtic transfer as Premiership champions weigh up bid for Egypt midfielder

Premiership champions Celtic are reportedly among a host of European sides eyeing a move for Future FC midfielder Mohamed Reda.

The 22-year-old has earned admiring glances over his former in Egypt and Sky Sports state the Treble winners are weighing up a bid for a player who can play in multiple roles across the middle of the park. Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers in seeking fresh faces after adding Odin Holm, Marco Tilio plus Yang Hyun-jun and Kwon Hyeuk-kyu set to be officially announced imminently. Rodgers' side have also been linked with Brazilian winger Ferreira who Gremio are understood to value around £6million.

Celtic have specialised in under the radar signings with Reda appearing another who has gone under the radar. The Parkhead side are returning for a second consecutive crack at the Champions League group stage with Rodgers understood to be won over by the chance of earning a fresh shot at the world's richest club competition after succeeding Ange Postecoglou.
