Michael Owen and Robbie Savage agree on Manchester United Premier League predictions

Michael Owen and Robbie Savage have both tipped Manchester United to finish in the Premier League top four this season.

United finished third last season in Erik ten Hag's debut campaign at Old Trafford. After the signing of Andre Onana, Mason Mount and the impending arrival of Rasmus Hojlund, fans are hopeful of further progression.

Looking ahead to the new Premier League season, Owen and Savage have both tipped United to earn Champions League football. Owen fancies Manchester City to win the league, with Arsenal in second and Liverpool above United in third.

Owen simply published his league table on Twitter, which also sees Chelsea in fifth, Aston Villa in sixth and Tottenham Hotspur ninth. At the bottom, he fancies Wolves, Sheffield United and Luton Town to be relegated.

Savage, by contrast, focussed his attention on the top four and explained his rationale. He went with United in third, behind Man City and Arsenal, with Chelsea taking the final spot ahead of Liverpool.

"I think Chelsea could get into the top four,’ he toldStar Sports. "You look at Newcastle and Arsenal who have Champions League football – yes, Arsenal have made three big signings – but I think Chelsea could get it.

"I think with the way Mauricio Pochettino can improve players and the fact they have no European football, which is huge, could play a big factor.

"For me, it’s between Arsenal and Liverpool [for who misses out]. Arsenal have improved as well. The big one for me is Liverpool, especially if they continue to play
