Michael Beale 'sacked' by Sunderland ALREADY as ex Rangers boss' disaster goes from bad to worse

Michael Beale has reportedly left Sunderland ALREADY just two months after taking the job.

Former QPR boss Beale walked straight into the Black Cats hotseat just 11 weeks after he was axed by Rangers but he was up against it from minute one with fans feeling he was the wrong appointment. He replaced popular boss Tony Mowbray, who many felt deserved longer at the helm, and early results didn't win punters over, with some fans were calling for his head after their FA Cup exit against rivals Newcastle in January.

There were some green shoots of life, but Sunderland have lost six of his 12 games in charge, including recent back to back defeats against Huddersfield and Birmingham. And now various outlets, including Sky Sports and the Sunderland Echo, are reporting he has left the club already after the board decided to make a change. It leaves chiefs at the Stadium of Light looking for their third permanent manager this season while Beale is out of work for the second time this campaign.

In last Saturday's 2-1 loss away to Birmingham, Beale was involved in a moment of controversy after appearing to ignore a handshake from his own player Trai Hume as he left the field following a substitution, prompting more calls for the ex-Gers boss to be removed from his position.
