Mbeumo wait, £62.5m deal, new kit date - Everything that's happened at Manchester United this summer

It is set to be a busy summer for Manchester United, both on and off the pitch.

Whether it is transfers - both incoming and outgoing - new kit launches and pre-season friendlies, it will be all systems go across the next few weeks as Manchester United gear up for the 2025/26 season.

It will be Ruben Amorim's first full season in charge at Old Trafford and he will be keen to ensure no stone has been left unturned in United's pursuit of success.

With that in mind, here is a look at what has already happened at United this summer.

United made an excellent start to their summer transfer business by securing the signing of the Wolves star on the opening day of the window.

After the Brazil international scored 17 goals for Wolves last season, United decided to trigger his £62.5million release clause.

Cunha has trained with his new team-mates for the first time this week and he should help to make a big difference to United's goalscoring woes.

United had also identified Ipswich Town forward Liam Delap as a potential signing up front after learning of the 12-goal forward's £30million release clause.

However, despite being keen to trigger that clause it was Chelsea who won the race for the former England under-21 international's signature.

Delap has already linked up with his new team-mates and helped the Blues reach the Club World Cup final in the USA.

It was no major surprise to see defenders Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof, as well as midfielder Christian Eriksen, leave United this summer after their contracts at Old Trafford expired.

Evans has retired from playing and will remain with United as their new loan and pathways manager. Lindelof and Eriksen will carry on playing, though, and are yet to find a new club.
