Marcel Sabitzer and Lisandro Martinez return in Manchester United fans' XI vs Leicester City

Manchester United fans have backed Marcel Sabitzer and Lisandro Martinez to return to action for this afternoon's Premier League clash at home to Leicester City.

The Reds welcome Brendan Rodgers' side to Old Trafford with the chance to further cement their place in the top four following Newcastle United's defeat at home to Liverpool on Saturday. Three points will take Erik ten Hag's men onto 49 for the season, extending their lead over fifth-placed Tottenham to 10 points before they host West Ham later on Sunday, although a Foxes side who have won their last two will be no easy task.

With just three days to rest and prepare after Thursday's thrilling 2-2 Europa League draw at Barcelona, and no doubt with one eye on next week's crucial return leg at Old Trafford, United boss Ten Hag may be inclined to introduce some fresh legs and Reds supporters have predicted exactly that.

Sabitzer and Martinez were both suspended for Thursday's trip to Camp Nou after picking up three European bookings prior to the winter break, meaning the pair will be ready to start this afternoon.

Argentinian defender Martinez has been a near-ever-present in the league this season, starting 21 of the Reds' 23 games, and he will likely slot in alongside Raphael Varane and left-back Luke Shaw. Diogo Dalot has also been tipped to reclaim his place in the starting line-up after being benched in Spain.
