Manchester United vs Leeds LIVE highlights and reaction from pre-season friendly as Joe Hugill and Noam Emeran score

Manchester United begin their pre-season schedule with a friendly against Leeds in Oslo, Norway this afternoon.

United will take on newly relegated Leeds at the Ullevaal Stadium in front of a sell-out crowd. The Reds' historic rivals Leeds will compete in the Championship next season, but the fixture should still be relatively competitive.

Erik ten Hag's first signing of the summer Mason Mount starts the match, but the line-up is youthful, with goalkeeper Dean Henderson, Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Antony not making the trip to Oslo.

Mount has been joined in the starting line up by senior players including Tom Haton, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Jadon Sancho, but Fred is absent from the matchday squad despite travelling.

Academy youngsters Alvaro Fernandez, Kobbie Mainoo, Hannibal, Amad and Omari Forson have also been given the opportunity to start the game and the five players will be hoping to make a statement with their displays.

Mainoo is considered the leading light of his age group and he starts with Mount and Hannibal in midfield.
