Manchester United vs Bayern Munich live - Champions League updates, team news and Marcus Rashford latest

Manchester United must beat Bayern Munich to have any hope of remaining in the Champions League and even then, it might not be enough.

United are rooted to the bottom of Group A after three defeats in five matches. They know they must defeat table-toppers Bayern and hope Copenhagen and Galatasaray draw in the other match.

The Reds' only win in the group came against Copenhagen at Old Trafford in October and Andre Onana made a superb penalty save in stoppage time to deny the Danish champions a late equaliser.

In terms of early team news, Victor Lindelof could return after he came off at halftime in the win against Chelsea last week and was unavailable for the 3-0 home humbling by Bournemouth

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford both missed training on Monday due to illness but could be involved.

While Bayern have already secured safe passage to the last-16 as group winners, United need a win to stand any chance of joining them in the knockout stages, while they would also need FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray to draw with each other in Denmark.

But Tuchel won't be resting any senior players after a strong squad travelled to Manchester in the wake of their 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Tuchel also confirmed that Harry Kane will play at Old Trafford, having been the subject of transfer interest from United in the summer.

Tuchel is also confident his own team won't take their foot off the gas as they defend a 39-game unbeaten run in the Champions
