Manchester United face competition in Serhou Guirassy 'pursuit' and other transfer rumours

Manchester United will encounter competition from West Ham if they are to snap-up Serhou Guirassy when the transfer market reopens. That's according to reports from Football Insider as speculation on the in-form Stuttgart striker continues to gather pace with one eye on the January window.

Guirassy only moved to the Bundesliga outfit from Stade Rennais this summer. However, after plundering 19 goals from 16 matches, other top European clubs have stood up and taken notice.

Guirassy, 27, is an intriguing proposition in that sense as he's claimed to have a €15million release clause. As per the reports from Football Insider, West Ham are on red alert.
