Manchester United transfer news LIVE Sofyan Amrabat injury updates and Jadon Sancho latest

It's been quite the week for Manchester United. It's now been seven days since Jadon Sancho publicly rebutted Erik ten Hag's decision to drop him from the matchday squad against Arsenal due to training levels.

Sancho claims he has been a 'scapegoat for a long time' although MEN Sport understands Ten Hag is standing by his comments. Victor Lindelof has been the first United player to comment on the matter.

He said the United dressing room is 'calm' and insisted the squad is a tight group that is unaffected by outside noise. Lindelof started for Sweden in their Euro 2024 win over Estonia on Saturday despite coming off against Arsenal feeling unwell.

Fellow Reds centre-back Harry Maguire played a full 90 minutes for the first time since the final day of last season in England's 1-1 draw with Ukraine last night. Marcus Rashford came off the bench.

Morocco head coach Walid Regragui insists Sofyan Amrabat's withdrawal from the squad was precautionary after the Manchester United midfielder 'felt something'.

Amrabat had been named in the Morocco squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Liberia and Burkina Faso. However, amid reports of the midfielder's injury, United confirmed on Friday evening that he had suffered an injury.

In a statement published on United's website, the club confirmed that Amrabat would return to Carrington for assessment and treatment.
