Manchester United transfer news LIVE Mount and Raya updates plus takeover latest

Erik ten Hag announced he had tied Diogo Dalot down to a new contract yesterday in the latest of renewals.

Luke Shaw has already put pen to paper while United are confident of being able to tie up a new deal for Marcus Rashford sooner than later. David de Gea is also in line for a fresh contract albeit with reduced terms.

His status as United No.1 going forward is in doubt after Ten Hag refused to confirm him as next season's preferred pick. A number of replacements have been linked, including Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa and Brentford shot stopper David Raya.

Reports suggests talks with the latter have begun after Thomas Frank slapped a £40m price tag on the Spaniard. United are also on the hunt for a midfielder with Mason Mount being linked.

Bayern Munich have emerged as new entrants in the race for Declan Rice, who may be out of United's price range anyway. That said, Ten Hag does not know what his transfer budget will be this summer with the conclusion of the takeover process seemingly no closer.
