Manchester United were scheduled to be in Premier League action today but the visit of Leeds United has been postponed.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Greater Manchester Police have become stretched and thus the game could not safely go ahead. News of the postponement means that United will not be in action until October and what a return match to have.

Erik ten Hag will lead his United side at the Etihad Stadium for his first Manchester derby after the international break. With a substantial amount of the first team on duty with their national team, the Dutchman will have to change his normal training plans.

Elsewhere, it would appear that United's interest in Cody Gakpo may have impacted the player's start to the season. That is according to a director at PSV Eindhoven who believes that it was a distraction.

If it was, then he's bounced back in style. The winger has scored nine goals in 12 appearances for the Eredivisie side.
