Manchester United transfer news LIVE - Cristiano Ronaldo latest and Tammy Abraham 'interest'

Manchester United sanctioned moves for six players during the summer transfer window as Erik ten Hag and key figures in the Old Trafford boardroom continue to put their January plans in place.

Despite missing out on priority target Frenkie de Jong, the Premier League giants signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Antony and Martin Dubravka, who was recruited from Newcastle on loan to offset Dean Henderson joining newly-promoted Nottingham Forest in a similar agreement.

Several players - some genuine and many otherwise - continue to be linked with United as names such as De Jong, Roma striker Tammy Abraham, Cody Gakpo and Goncalo Ramos from Benfica continue to do the rounds. But how many signings will United make when they continue their rebuild this January?

TODAY'S BIG TALKING POINT: Henderson makes Rashford admission. Have your say here.

However, while the Londoner was previously quoted as saying he is in no rush to return to the Premier League, reports from Corriere dello Sport indicate he has changed his mind over that decision to put potential suitors on red alert.

Corriere name United, Arsenal and Chelsea with an interest in his signature.
