MEN Sport understand Watford's Daniel Bachmann will be United's top target to replace Henderson this summer. The Hornets shot-stopper is likely to welcome a move to Old Trafford following Watford's relegation from the Premier League last season.

Elsewhere, United's pursuit of Christian Eriksen rumbles on. Ten Hag is still interested in signing the Dane in this transfer window but will face competition.

Manchester United are interested in signing Christian Eriksen on a free transfer this summer. Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest at last summer's European Championship and he departed Inter Milan following that incident.

The player made his comeback to football in January earlier this year when joining Brentford on a six-month loan deal. After contributing one goal and four assists in 11 appearances for Brentford, Eriksen is now available on a free transfer and Thomas Frank's side would like to permanently sign the midfielder, but they're facing competition from United for his signature.
