Manchester United transfer news RECAP Man Utd announce Malacia as Ronaldo's exit reasons revealed
Manchester United have completed their first signing of the summer transfer window, confirming the arrival of left-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.
The Netherlands international, 22, has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at Old Trafford, taking him through to the summer of 2026. The deal also features the option of an additional year.
Malacia has become the first signing of the Erik ten Hag era and United supporters will now be hoping that further additions will swiftly follow. On Monday, it was confirmed by the Manchester Evening News that Christian Eriksen should become a United player sooner rather than later, with the Danish international verbally agreeing a three-year deal to join the club.
Meanwhile, question marks remain over Cristiano Ronaldo's future in M16. It is understood that he wants to leave the club in pursuit of Champions League football, while also becoming frustrated by United's slow start to the transfer window.
He did not report back to Carrington for pre-season training on Monday and didn't turn up on Tuesday, either. United remain the dark over when he could return.
