Manchester United transfer news LIVE Dean Henderson latest and Cristiano Ronaldo updates

Dean Henderson has once again been in the headlines this weekend taking aim at Manchester United.

Currently the England international is on loan at Nottingham Forest having found games hard to come by at Old Trafford last season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick. Upon joining the East Midlands club, Henderson claimed that he did not speak to Erik ten Hag before joining Forest out of fear that he would talk him out of the move.

Henderson believes that he is now behind the likes of Jordan Pickford, Aaron Ramsdale and Nick Pope due to his lack of matches last season. One player who has struggled for minutes this season at United is Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese ace has played an important role for the Reds in recent weeks though following an injuries to Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. United fans were left holding their breaths on Saturday night when the 37-year-old suffered a nasty facial injury.

However, Ronaldo has since downplayed any fears that he will not be fit for the Manchester derby on Sunday.
