Manchester United transfer news LIVE Everton vs Man Utd build-up and Marcus Rashford updates

Manchester United will return to Premier League action this evening when they travel to Everton in the late kick off.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping that his players put in a much better performance against the Toffees than they did last Sunday at the Etihad Stadium. United slipped to a 6-3 defeat against Manchester City last weekend and they have since had to rebuild their confidence ahead of another big match.

United returned to winning ways on Thursday night in a less than convincing 3-2 victory over Omonia Nicosia. Marcus Rashford came off the bench in Cyprus to turn the game on its head.

His brace ensured that Ten Hag has plenty to think about ahead of the trip to Goodison. Rashford will be hoping he can return to the starting line-up potentially alongside Anthony Martial who has scored three goals in his last two matches for the Reds.

Today's big talking point: Is Evra right? Have the players lost trust in Ten Hag? Have your say here.

Marcus Rashford has made a prediction about Cristiano Ronaldo's goal drought.

The United man has scored just once so far this season and has yet to find the net in the Premier League.

Everton star Dwight McNeil was released by United when he was 14 so for him today's match is bigger than most.

He believes that now is the perfect time to face the Reds considering their defeat to City last weekend.
