Manchester United transfer news LIVE Alessandro Bastoni and Darwin Nunez latest plus Pogba news

The transfer window will officially open in just two days' time and Manchester United will be able to start their summer business.

Erik ten Hag will have from Friday until 11 pm on September 1 to add much-needed recruits to his new squad, one that registered the lowest ever Premier League points tally in United's history with just 58 this past season.

One player who will hope to feature heavily in the Dutchman's side is Anthony Elanga, who has made it clear what his favourite position is.

The Swede scored a fine goal for his country on Sunday after cutting in from the left and it's that flank where he prefers to play.

“It suits me very well,” Elanga told Fotbollskanalen. “At United I play a lot on the right but now I get the chance to play on the left, that is my favourite position. I can do more there. I can go both inside on the pitch and also the outside.”

Paul Pogba says he wants to 'feel loved' at his next club after deciding to leave Manchester United. The Frenchman will officially become a free agent when his United contract expires at the end of the month, bringing to an end his six-year second stint at the club.

Pogba, 29, will leave United exactly 10 years on from the last time he departed by running down his contract. As the Manchester Evening News reported last month, Pogba is expected to rejoin Juventus, whom he joined from United in 2012.

Speaking with UNINTERRUPTED,the France international addressed his future and insisted that his own happiness will be crucial in determining his next move.

Here's what he said.
