With the transfer window opening last Friday, Manchester United now have their first full week in order to begin their summer business.

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has emerged as the current top target and the Dutchman responded to the reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford on Saturday night.

De Jong was asked about United's interest after he played for the Netherlands and he kept his cards close to his chest. The reporter asked De Jong: "Are you going from the beaches of Catalonia to the cold of Manchester?"

To which he replied: "No... I think... I can't say anything," while laughing.
