Manchester United takeover news live injury latest ahead of Premier League fixture vs Liverpool FC

Manchester United travel to Anfield for today's 4.30pm kick-off with April's 7-0 mauling at the back of their mind.

However, Marcus Rashford will be in the squad after recovering from illness while Luke Shaw is set to feature although Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez and Mason Mount are among those out with injuries.

Well-placed sources say Ten Hag’s position will be viewed as weaker if they suffer a third successive defeat at Anfield.
