How Manchester United should line up vs Liverpool in Premier League fixture
Manchester United have the small task of playing Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League this weekend.
United crashed out of the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich earlier in the week and Erik ten Hag's players must respond to that disappointment by delivering a spirited performance.
Liverpool have won 7-0 and 4-0 against United on their last two visits to Merseyside and they currently sit at the top of the league, while they are also expecting a record Anfield attendance after a new stand was opened.

Regarding the team news, Luke Shaw and Marcus Rashford are available for selection, but Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial will both miss the game due to injuries, while Bruno Fernandes is suspended.
So here's how our writers think United should line up...

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has to come in and Raphael Varane should be the captain. If Victor Lindelof is fit, he is a more logical inclusion than Jonny Evans.
All of United's available midfielders have to start. Scott McTominay has had good impacts with a higher role this season and is the only suitable replacement for Bruno Fernandes. Hannibal Mejbri is a loose cannon and Donny van de Beek should be cut loose.
Marcus Rashford has a point to prove and has experience of playing on the right in a draw at Anfield.

United are dealing with a list of injuries and it feels like a photo of the starting team at Anfield this weekend has the potential to resurface in a decade with supporters thinking: "Just look at how bad we had it."
