Manchester United reveal major change to 2024/25 kit after decision from £60m sponsor

Manchester United's kit for the new season will have a logo printed on the back in certain fixtures.

It was confirmed in September that California-based company Qualcomm Technologies would have their brand Snapdragon on the front of shirts for the 2024/25 season.

Following a successful pilot during pre-season in the United States, Qualcomm have activated their right to nominate a logo to appear on the back of United's shirt in certain matches.

The American company have chosen Microsoft’s CoPilot+ PCs logo to be printed on the back, which will be seen for the first time in the Community Shield this weekend. The logo will be placed beneath the squad numbers and break the tradition of a player's name and number only being shown.

The CoPilot+ PC logo will also be visible on the back of the shirts in Women’s Super League fixtures as well as certain other men’s, women’s and academy matches throughout 24/25.

However, although the Microsoft logo will be printed on shirts, they are not an official partner of the club and the change is a Qualcomm-led promotion and announcement.
