Manchester United pre-season tour squad as Erik ten Hag confirms two new additions

Manchester United have added Jonny Evans and Joe Hugill to their pre-season tour squad ahead of their friendly against Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

United, who will get their Premier League campaign underway at home to Wolves in just over a fortnight's time, originally flew out to the United States just over a week ago with a 31-man squad. That was made up mainly of senior players and a small handful of youngsters.

That squad has primarily been responsible for the friendlies against Arsenal and Real Madrid so far, with a separate group of academy players travelling out to the US for the 3-1 defeat to Wrexham in San Diego earlier this week. However, some younger members of Erik ten Hag's squad did feature in that much, such as Alvaro Fernandez and Hannibal Mejbri.

Though neither of them featured against Arsenal or Madrid, they are still part of the squad that is preparing for the clash with Dortmund, which will mark United's fourth and final friendly in the States before returning to England for the showdowns with Lens and Athletic Bilbao.
