Manchester United player ratings vs Galatasaray as Rasmus Hojlund brilliant but Andre Onana poor

Manchester United fell to a 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray at Old Trafford in the Champions League fixture on Tuesday night.

Rasmus Hojlund scored twice but United struggled defensively and former United player Wilfried Zaha netted on his return. United's night went from bad to worse when Casemiro was sent off and conceded a penalty. Mauro Icardi missed the penalty but scored minutes later to atone for his blunder.

Victor Lindelof

Made a key interception and block either side of the interval. An improvement on his general form this season. 6

Sofyan Amrabat

United suffered in the absence of a specialist left-back again. As determined as Amrabat was, he did not look a natural and it showed for Galatasaray's second goal. 4

Mason Mount

Worked tirelessly and had two goalscoring opportunities in the first half. Forced a straightforward save from Fernando Muslera in the second. 6

Casemiro

Sprayed a fine pass for Marcus
