Manchester United must decide the futures of 10 players before the transfer window shuts

Manchester United have three weeks left of the transfer window to mould their squad for Erik ten Hag.

United have done the bulk of their business this summer with Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund all arriving at Old Trafford. Ten Hag will be delighted to have signed three major upgrades to their first XI.

Onana and Mount are likely to make their Premier League debuts for United against Wolves on Monday, whilst fans will have to wait a little longer for a first glimpse at Hojlund. The forward will miss the start of the season with a major injury.

If United are to fund further additions, there will need to be outgoings. They currently have at least 10 players where a resolution on their future must be found in the next 24 days.

Starting in goal, Dean Henderson remains at United continuing his rehabilitation from a long-term thigh injury. The 26-year-old is expected to join Nottingham Forest either permanently or with a loan-to-buy deal.

Harry Maguire's future is also uncertain after United knocked back a £30million bid from West Ham United this week. The defender is effectively fourth-choice centre-back and arguably behind Luke Shaw in the pecking order too.

Having been stripped of the armband and with the European Championships coming up, Maguire may need to leave for regular minutes. Whilst United have rejected a bid for him, he could be allowed to move on if the offer increases.
