Manchester United make five new Ruben Amorim appointments as huge changes continue

Manchester United have appointed five new coaches who will make up part of Ruben Amorim's backroom team.

Carlos Fernandes, Jorge Vital, Adelio Candido, Emanuel Ferro and Paulo Barreira will all join the Reds from Sporting. Craig Mawson, Darren Fletcher and Andreas Georgson meanwhile will stay as part of Amorim's team having previously worked under Erik ten Hag.

Fernandes, Candido and Ferro are part of Amorim's first-team coaching set-up, while Vital is his goalkeeping coach. Barreira is a sporting scientist. Fernandes is Amorim's right-hand man and he confirmed his own exit from Sporting with an Instagram post on Sunday night after they came from behind to beat Braga 4-2.
