Manchester United 'keep tabs' on three Andre Onana alternatives and other transfer rumours

Manchester United are reportedly doing 'due diligence' on three other goalkeepers to Andre Onana.

The Inter Milan shot-stopper is the club's number one target to replace the out-of-contract David De Gea, but the Serie A side are said to have rejected three bids in total from the Old Trafford club. The latest of those reportedly totalled €50million, with Inter holding out for a fee in the region of €55-60m. Onana is said to be keen on a move to United, while all parties share a desire to get the deal done.

Ten Hag's side, though, are still preparing for the worst case scenario though. According to Sky Sports, United continue to keep a close eye on Justin Bijlow, David Raya and Diogo Costa

Manchester United are also reportedly preparing a bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.

Football director at Old Trafford, John Murtough, is holding extensive talks with the Serie A side as United look to get a deal over the line this summer. It is no secret that manager Erik ten Hag is desperate to sign a centre-forward and, after being priced out of moves for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, the Dane is now a primary target.

The Telegraph claims that United are preparing a £50million offer for Hojlund, who has already spoken to Ten Hag via video calls. He netted 10 goals in 34 appearances for Atalanta last season and is under contract until 2027 with the Italian club. He has found the net six times for his country already, too.
