Manchester United 'keen' on signing versatile Shakhtar Donetsk attacker and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are 'keen' on signing Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Georgiy Sudakov.

That is according to a report by Tutto Juve, which claims United, who face Galatasaray in a crunch Champions League group game in midweek, are one of three Premier League clubs who could make a move for his signature in the 'near future'. Arsenal and Chelsea have also been credited with interest in his signature.

The 21-year-old, who is also said to be attracting interest from clubs in Italy and Spain, has caught the eye for Shakhtar so far this season, both domestically and in Europe. He has scored three goals and grabbed one assist in 15 matches so far.

Though he plays as an attacking-midfielder in the main, Sudakov is also capable of playing out wide, meaning he is a versatile operator. He is also a very technical and skilful individual, meaning he would add an extra threat to United's attack, should they win the race for his signature.

On the books of Shakhtar since 2020, Sudakov, who turned 21 at the start of September, has made 82 appearances for the Ukrainian club, scoring 13 goals and registering 13 assists. He has also earned 12 caps for Ukraine.

Meanwhile, United have 'set their sights' on highly-rated Derby County youngster Cruz Allen. That is according to a report by The Sun, which claims his performances at youth level have 'alerted' the Reds.

The 16-year-old, who has already made his senior debut for the League One Rams, appearing in an EFL Trophy fixture earlier this season, has produced a string of eye-catching performances for the club's Under-18s in the Under-18s
