Manchester United have easy transfer decision as Erik ten Hag picks from one of three options

Manchester United are in the market for full-backs after already addressing the centre of their defence with the signing of Leny Yoro.

Multiple right-backs, namely Noussair Mazraoui, are of interest to the club as they prepare to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who United want to cash in on this summer with his contract expiring. Left-back is also an area that requires attention as Tyrell Malacia continues recovering from a knee injury.

United are now open to signing someone. Feyenoord's David Hancko and former Chelsea player Marcos Alonso, a free agent after leaving Barcelona at the start of this month, are options.

However, the Mirror reports that Tyrick Mitchell is another target. The two-time England international could even be available for a cut-price fee after entering the final year of his Crystal Palace contract.

Alonso would be the cheap option and is someone the club's previous regime unsuccessfully attempted to sign last year before settling for Sergio Reguilon. But there should be no settling this summer, as shown by the pursuit of Yoro.

Going for Hancko would also represent another gamble on a player from the Eredivisie. Aside from the obvious hit in Lisandro Martinez, Antony and Malacia have not been for manager Erik ten Hag.

Mitchell, meanwhile, is the youngest of the trio at 24 and has already played over 130 matches in the Premier League for Crystal Palace. There would be echoes of Wan-Bissaka, but they could conceivably strike a deal for half what they paid five years ago.

Palace are also a very different proposition than during the 2018/19
