Manchester United get new Manuel Ugarte transfer hint after talks breakthrough

Manchester United have received a new transfer boost after Manuel Ugarte was left out of Paris Saint-Germain squad for this weekend's match.

The Manchester Evening News understands the club are close to agreeing a deal with the French champions with negotiations at the final stage. The 23-year-old has been a long-term target for Erik ten Hag, having agreed personal terms a while ago.

Ugarte has been omitted from PSG's clash against Montpellier, having also been left out of Luis Enrique's squad for their opening fixture of the Ligue 1 campaign last weekend.
