Casemiro's 'stance' on leaving Man United as midfielder's 'dream' transfer emerges

Casemiro will reportedly reject any offers from Galatasaray before the Turkish transfer window closes despite Manchester United reportedly being open to offers for the midfielder.

The 32-year-old has two years remaining on the contract he signed after arriving in the summer of 2022. That agreement also includes the option of an additional season.

However, new signing Manuel Ugarte seemingly displaces the former Brazil international in the starting line-up. Toby Collyer also replaced Casemiro at half-time of the match against Liverpool at Old Trafford to make his Premier League debut weeks after coming on as a substitute in the Community Shield for Kobbie Mainoo.

The Daily Mail, though, reports Casemiro is 'determined to stay' at United and is not interested in leaving this month. It is claimed Galatasaray are considering a move for Casemiro but the club acknowledges that affording his wages would be unlikely.

United seemingly received no offers from Saudi Pro League clubs this summer despite being open to bids, with former football director John Murtough travelling to the country late last year to strengthen relations in the area. As such, they expect Casemiro to be training again when the team reconvenes ahead of the Southampton match.

Another midfielder United are always linked with having an interest in is Adrien Rabiot. The France international is a free agent again for the second straight year after leaving Juventus but remains without a club in early September.
