Manchester United full squad revealed for Tottenham as Ruben Amorim faced with triple dilemma

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur meet in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon in a clash of the two major underperforming teams of the season so far.

Everton's win at Crystal Palace on Saturday means United are 14th and Spurs are behind by just two points in 15th. Both sides have lost more than 10 games each and have failed to string together any sort of consistency this season.

Ruben Amorim's side have enjoyed more than a week of preparation after their 2-1 FA Cup win over Leicester City. Yet, United come into the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a smaller squad than before.

On Saturday night, Amad confirmed reports that he will miss a significant period of action through injury. It's been claimed the attacker had suffered ankle ligament damage and could be forced to miss the rest of the season.

"Extremely disappointed to be writing this message in such a crucial time of the season," he wrote on Instagram. "Unfortunately, I will be out for some time with an injury. I will come back stronger than ever!! Time to support the boys from the outside. Still loads to play for."

The injury problems get worse with three midfielders set to miss the game. Kobbie Mainoo is out of the game while Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are doubtful after picking up issues. That means one of Casemiro or Christian Eriksen will partner Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the park.

Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Jonny Evans are all also out meaning Amorim is faced with being without eight first-team players. It could mean the likes of Chido Obi could be named in the match-day squad for the first-team on the back of his hat-trick against Chelsea in mid-week.
