I saw what Sir Jim Ratcliffe did before Man United vs Tottenham and the Glazers should be ashamed

Manchester United played their first Premier League game of 2024 against Tottenham on Sunday and there was plenty to keep us entertained both on and off the pitch.

Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford were on target as United led on two occasions. However, they were pegged back in front of a watching Sir Jim Ratcliffe as Tottenham hit back through Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur either side of the break. United will now have a few days off as they get ready to enjoy a pre-arranged winter break before resuming their Premier League charge.

It has been a challenging start to life in England for Hojlund after his £72million switch. Despite hitting five goals in the Champions League the Denmark striker has found it tough going in the Premier League and his tally before the Tottenham game was just one in 15.

Of course, the 20-year-old needed time to settle in and his experienced teammates have not offered much of a helping hand with United struggling across the board. Roy Keane alluded to that when he chatted about Hojlund in his pre-match analysis for Sky Sports.

He also called on the Dane to show more desire and start taking his chances. He did that inside three minutes with a stunning opener and United will be hoping it kickstarts his Premier League career.

Ratcliffe was not the only special guest in attendance on Sunday. Darts sensation Luke Littler was invited to Old Trafford by the club following his PDC heroics.
