Manchester United confirm mixed injury news as Erik ten Hag addresses Raphael Varane speculation

Manchester United will be targeting a third successive Premier League win when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on Sunday afternoon.

United signed off for the recent international break with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Luton Town almost a fortnight ago and will be eager to pick up where they left off. Victor Lindelof scored the only goal of the game to make it back-to-back league triumphs.

After an international break dominated by takeover speculation and uncertainty surrounding several players' future at the club, United's supporters will probably welcome the fact the football is about to do the talking again. But the Reds will have to be at the peak of their powers for the trip to Everton, who are going to be fired up in response to their recent 10-point deduction.

Below, MEN Sport brings you the very latest United headlines for the evening of Friday, November 24.

United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that goalkeeper Andre Onana will be available for the trip to Goodison Park. The summer signing from Inter Milan was forced to withdraw from the Cameroon squad last weekend after suffering an injury in their 3-0 win over Mauritius.

As a result, he left the Cameroonian camp early and played no part in their 1-1 draw with Libya on Tuesday. However, Ten Hag, speaking at Friday's press conference, confirmed he had trained in preparation for the clash with Everton.

However, the United boss has warned that he could be without striker Rasmus Hojlund. The Dane went off in the win over Luton with a muscular problem and is touch-and-go for the short trip to Merseyside.
