For a long, long while it was suggested Jack Grealish had signed for the wrong Manchester club and there are still those who might - wishfully thinking - uphold that particular viewpoint.
However, after initially struggling to make his mark at Manchester City - with that staggering £100million price tag hanging over his head - the England playmaker is now a star among stars in the City dressing room and on the field as Manchester United attempt to nullify his threat at Wembley.
A quick glance at City's team sheet (fitness permitting) beneath the famous arch would, not too many moons ago, have been accompanied by a sense of what might have been. United pursued Grealish himself and then decided to shop elsewhere; they wanted Erling Haaland and ultimately missed out on that goal-den ticket.

Fast forward a few months and there is a genuinely positive tint on the proverbial spectacles.
