Manchester United are acting like a serious Premier League club in transfer market
Manchester United are buying the players they want and selling those considered surplus to requirements so far this summer.
There are sensible decisions being made and that's certainly not always been the case at Old Trafford. The club's business has been refreshing and it feels a little too good to be true, as if something bad is bound to be on the horizon.
'Why is my football club acting sensibly' fans are thinking in a state of confusion. They have been accustomed to bad decisions over the last decade, as Ed Woodward committed a catalogue of errors during his tenure.

Richard Arnold succeeded Woodward as the kingmaker in February last year and although some fans would say it was difficult to be worse than his predecessor, the 18 months that he's spent as CEO have been promising to this date.
The management structured has been tweaked and there has been progress on the pitch, which has mostly been down to the work of Erik ten Hag, but it would have been harder for the Dutchman to succeed with Woodward above him.
Woodward was hands-on in the running of the football side of the club when he was grossly unqualified to do so. He studied physics at Bristol University and was a qualified chartered accountant.
Woodward's strategy was regularly baffling and Arnold was keen to distance himself from his predecessor upon his appointment, making the decision to step away from football matters to look after the commercial side instead.
Arnold has been happy to empower football director John Murtough and there's now a leadership group with multiple different voices present on investor calls, instead of Woodward almost single-handedly captaining the ship.
