Manchester United among Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's 'admirers' and more transfer rumours

Manchester United are one of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's many admirers, according to reports.

Despite spending heavily once again in the recently closed summer transfer window, United still have some obvious weaknesses in their squad that will have to be addressed in 2024. A position that is becoming increasingly problematic is the right wing.

Antony has taken a leave of absence while Jadon Sancho's future at the club is up in the air after he challenged Erik ten Hag. The manager said he left Sancho out of the squad against Arsenal due to his performances in training, which the forward took umbrage with in a now-deleted tweet.

With Amad currently sidelined with an injury, Facundo Pellistri is the only natural right winger available at present and he is yet to start a Premier League match. United could look to strengthen their attacking options further in January and Kvaratskhelia might be an option.

The exciting Napoli winger was the breakout star of last season as his 14 goals and 17 assists helped fire his new club to their first Serie A Triumph since the 1980s. Napoli managed to fend off interest this past summer but several clubs are said to be interested.

According to the Daily Mail, Kvaratskhelia has several 'admirers' from the Premier League including United. However, it's added that any move in January would be difficult given a steep asking price and Napoli's reluctance to sell. It's added United may look for a loan move in the new year for a temporary solution to their wing issues until the end of the season.
