Manchester United 'agree terms' with Martin Dubravka and more transfer rumours

Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.

The report, from Football Insider claims that United are close to finalising a deal for the 33-year-old Slovakia international, who will offer back-up to first-choice shot-stopper David de Gea. It adds that United have proposed a loan-to-buy deal for Dubravka that would see him join for £5million at the end of the season.

The goalkeeper is said to be keen on a move to Old Trafford after losing his place to summer signing Nick Pope, who signed for Newcastle from relegated Burnley. The Magpies have reportedly told the goalkeeper he is free to leave, but they would prefer a permanent transfer over a loan-to-buy.

Dubravka, who would arrive as a proven Premier League shot-stopper, has made 130 appearances for Newcastle since signing in the summer of 2018 on an initial loan deal.

Elsewhere, Sky Sports report that Ajax have finally named their price for star man Antony as they look to receive £84.8m for the Brazilian winger.

United have already seen two bids rejected for Antony, with the second bid in the region of £76m, but Erik ten Hag is keen to bring his former player to Old Trafford.

While a move is proving difficult to complete - with Ajax keen to keep hold of the player unless their price tag is met - United are still confident of signing the forward before next week's transfer deadline.

The 22-year-old was left out of the Ajax squad for their 1-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday and is said to be desperate on signing for the Premier League club.
