Manchester United 2024/25 pre-match kit 'leaked' as The Stone Roses collaboration hinted

Pictures have begun to circulate online regarding a potential pre-match kit collaboration between Manchester United and the Stone Roses.

Rumoured to hit the shops in 2024, the black shirt features yellow swirling details, much similar to that of the design seen on the home kit of the Reds 2023/24 shirt. The unique pattern work resembles the artwork made famous by the Indie Rock band in the late 80s and early 90s.

Leaked by FootyHeadlines.com, the shirt is apparently set to be used as a warm-up top ahead of games this season and could be released as early as January next year. United's three kits this season have been well received on the whole, with their green and white away shirt a homage to the club's storied past.

Lead singer Ian Brown is a lifelong United fan and has often been pictured in attendance at Old Trafford across the years, with the city's close affiliation between music and football often two things that go perfectly hand in hand.

Hit single 'This is the One' is still played at every home matchday some 34 years after its release, with matchday presenter Alan Keegan often heard geeing up supporters ahead of kick-off inside Old Trafford as the tune rings around the stadium.
