Manchester Pride 2023 ticket prices as LGBTQ+ festival returns for 'exciting' celebration

Manchester Pride will return for 2023 with an ‘exciting’ line-up of events celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.

The long-running festival, which takes place over the August 25-28 bank holiday weekend, will feature six free events alongside the return of last year’s ticketed Gay Village Party.

The party celebration, which replaced MCR Pride Live, took place in Sackville Gardens and featured an array of talent including Melanie C, Bimini and Nadine Coyle. This year’s line-up of artists will be announced shortly.

Alongside the Gay Village Party, the free Manchester Pride Parade, Candlelit Vigil, Superbia Weekend, Human Rights Forum, Family Pride MCR and Youth Pride MCR will all make a welcome return this year.

£2.50 from every ticket sold this year will be donated to the Manchester Pride Community Fund, with money going towards grants for LGBTQ+ causes and projects across Greater Manchester.

£120,000 was raised for the Manchester Pride Community Fund from last year’s event, with more than £1.5 million raised since 2003.

Manchester Pride, which was named the ‘Best Large Festival’ at the UK Festival Awards in 2022, will be sponsored this year by digital travel company booking.com.

Mark Fletcher, CEO of Manchester Pride, said: “We’re delighted to announce the return of Manchester Pride Festival 2023 with an exciting schedule of events and our partnership with
