Man United vs Fulham shows what we can expect from new Premier League VAR account

It took only 13 minutes of the new Premier League season for Manchester United to have a potential penalty checked by VAR.

Amad went down inside the Fulham area under pressure from Alex Iwobi and Antonee Robinson. Initially, it appeared United had a shout for a spot-kick, but referee Robert Jones played on with the visitors racing away on the counter-attack.

Then, six minutes later, the Match Centre account posted: "The referee issued a yellow card to Maguire for simulation. The VAR checked for a potential penalty and confirmed
