Roy Keane has already told Man United what to do with Antony after transfer comments

Roy Keane has already offered his verdict on Antony's future amid reports linking him with a move away from Manchester United.

The Brazilian has failed to live up to expectations since completing a move to Old Trafford in 2022. Antony has scored 11 goals and provided just five assists in 83 appearances for the Reds.

Recent reports have claimed that Turkish club Fenerbahce are interested in a loan move for the 24-year-old. It is said that former United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign the winger.

On an episode of Stick To Football in December last year, former United captain Keane was asked to decide whether to ‘keep’ or ‘ditch’ a current squad member, or state that they were on their ‘last straw’. Gary Neville read out each United first-team member with fellow panellists Jamie Carragher and Ian Wright also asked to give their verdict.

Going through the list of players, Keane decided that 10 members of the squad are not up to standard and should be offloaded going forward. Of those currently at the club, he named Antony, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot, Jonny Evans, and Christian Eriksen as falling under this category.

Earlier this year Antony's agent, Junior Pedroso, commented on a potential transfer for his client. He said: “I see reports about a potential exit on loan. Antony’s plan is clear: Manchester United. He wants to stay, he’s only focused on Man United. We already spoke about that with the club.”

Meanwhile, Keane said Andre Onana, Luke Shaw, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Scott McTominay were all on their final
